CONTACT YOUR LEGISLATORS TODAY
DEMOCRACY WORKS WHEN PEOPLES' VOICES ARE HEARD.
We are asking that people hold off on contacting their legislators until after the election. If you still wish to do so, however enter your zip code, check-off your legislators, and copy-paste the following into VoterVoice.

I am writing to urge the USA Adoption Council to advocate for the U.S. Department of State to take decisive action concerning international adoptions from South Korea and elsewhere. It is crucial that we pause all international adoption processes until we can guarantee that no child has been wrongfully taken from their biological families. The prevention of child trafficking must be our top priority.

The voices of adoptees must be heard in this critical conversation. We call for a thorough investigation into adoption agencies, including Holt, to ensure ethical practices and accountability. It is essential that Holt addresses past issues and provides adequate post-adoption support for those seeking answers about their origins.

We believe that until these matters are resolved, all activities related to international adoptions should be paused. This step is necessary to protect vulnerable children and restore trust in the adoption process.

Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. We hope for swift action to safeguard the rights and well-being of children worldwide.
